How to do messy half buns!

In fairy kei this is a very popular look, also it's used in decora, lolita, actually quite a lot of Japanese street fashions!

Here's how I do mine!

1: Brush your hair and pull into high half bunches

2: Backcomb the bunches until their all big and poofy!

3: Wrap the hair around itself and either use hair grips to pin in place or use another hair elastic

4: Accessorise and you're done!

How easy was that? X3

It won't look the exact same every time so experiment a bit with it. The picture below isn't of me, it's just the reference I used when I first decided I was going to do this style. It was the best reference because she's not wearing accessories so I can see the actual hair style x3
